This is my fourth year in Prince William County Public Schools. I taught in Arlington Public Schools for 7 years prior to coming to Prince William County. I grew up in upstate New York and went to Mansfield University of PA for my undergraduate degree in Music Education and received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from George Mason University, here in VA, in 2007. Teaching music to children is a joy that I cherish each and every day. Giving them the gift of music literacy over a period of time combined with an ability to sing and play an instrument will hopefully instill in them the desire to explore, experience and enjoy the arts for years to come. My first love was the flute, followed by singing and Drum & Bugle Corps where I played in the pit orchestra and gravitated toward Marimba and percussion instruments. It's going to be a great year at Triangle-Go Tigers!
